Meet Mr. Perry

I have someone special to introduce everybody to....
Meet PERRY!!!

My adorable 11 week old Goldendoodle!!

I am so in love with him. He was a valentine's day gift from my boyfriend and he has been the best gift ever!!!

We picked him up Sunday night. He slept through the night (in his crate) and has done GREAT with potty training. He has only had one little accident in the morning when we were busy getting ready.

Not only did I get the best dog for my valentine's gift, but I also was surprised with these beautiful flowers at work!!! I am definetly spoiled by having Ben work close to my school. I have been surprised with delivered chick-fil-a milkshakes, forgotten lunches and now flowers!!!

And thanks for playing and loving on little Perry!!
He lovesss to be held like a baby. I read that most goldendoodles, regardless of size, still like being held like this when they are older!!

I have been doing some reading and learning how to care for my little one!

Perry goes to the vet tomorrow afternoon, and then hopefully we start puppy obedience training this weekend! If anyone has any recommendations on puppy classes in Lexington, please let me know!!!!!!

I'm also considering sending Perry to Doggy Daycare 1 or 2 times a month. Am I crazy or is this a good idea?! I think it would be good for puppy socialization.

So I realize I haven't blogged in over a week... I hate it! I haven't even been able to read blogs either, ugh. Work has been busy, plus no snow days to just be able to relax and catch up on blogs makes it hard! It's hard when you have a puppy to give your undivided attention to every night. I haven't made it to the gym this week either. Luckily I am going to Pure Cardio class Saturday morning! So scared for this class, but it will be a good workout!

I can't wait for the weekend... ONE MORE DAY!!! I get to spend the whole day with my little guy. Hoping for nice weather so we can go to the puppy park :)

  1. He is so cute!! I can't wait to meet him. I think the Doggy Daycare is a good idea, for socialization. And puppy kindergarten is a must! Have fun with your new baby this weekend, and PLEASE plan a trip home soon so you can introduce the newest member of the family!

  3. Hey, I am also from Lexington and I just stumbled upon your blog! Your pup is adorable! I love my Goldendoodle so much! I put mine in an 8wk class at the Petsmart at Hamburg, under the instructor named Brian. My pup learned her name, sit, stay, and how to walk on a leash! Hope this helps! :)
